RECEPTION ROOMS

After a day’s walking on the coast or the North York Moors, or alternatively shopping in the various individual shops and businesses in Whitby, guests can relax in the beautiful south facing lounge. This large, calm room is dominated by the bay window which floods the space with light, and by the listed Georgian fire surround and overmantle. Part of the owners’ collection of paintings and objets d’art help to furnish this elegantly proportioned lounge and guests will feel immediately at ease.

DINING AREA

Breakfast is served in the basement, a light, airy space overlooking the garden. Guests are able to select from vegetarian, vegan or traditional options, all of which are sourced wherever feasible, from local suppliers. The emphasis is very much on variety and quality, to try and ensure a correct start is given to your day.
